about

As a teenager, Savilla taught herself to sew on her grandmother's Singer. She learned to make a garment from start to finish: from drafting her own pattern to sewing the finest details.

Upon graduating from University, Savilla's first job was that of head designer for a major lingerie manufacturer. Her designs have been featured in many popular catalogs, boutiques and runways.

Savilla has also worked closely with major fashion designers, as well as on many movie sets as a costumer.

She still prefers to be involved in every aspect of her designs. Savilla starts with a sketch, she makes the pattern for it, chooses the fabrics, cuts and sews the garment. Her sketches could be sent overseas and be mass produced for a cheap price, but then it would no longer be unique.
